Seriously. That's the whole idea behind The Autobiography of Mark Twain. Which has just been published - 100 years after his death - as per his request.
Oh, Mark. How clever of you. Now none of the people you wrote about are around to get upset by what you're revealing about them. And most of their children are probably gone too. Genius. Pure genius.
But then again, what else could we expect from you?
This book has been on back-order since it was published in October. It's worth waiting for though. Every page is like listening to your grandpa tell a story. Now imagine that your grandpa is Mark Twain! Just great. GREAT! I'm only a couple chapters into the actual autobiography part [the entire volume is fully annotated with more notes than you might care to look at, let alone read] but it's just amazing.

oh, ron...
I LOVE harry potter books. I can't help it. And even though I know exactly what happens on every single page of the entire saga, I could read those books over and over and over again. They're definitely on my "desert island" list.
I just re-read the 7th book, since the movie came out and all. It was amazing. I was a little bummed when they changed so many things for the screen - but honeslty, I was not in the least bit disappointed by part one of The Deathly Hallows. And I am SO excited for the finale. I don't think it will make me sad at all to know that it's over. If anything it will seal the deal for me, and feel complete.
I will be sad to see my dear Ronald go, though. He's my favorite. I've had a crush on him since the very first book. He's just the cutest thing ever.
So now that I think I can finally let this part of my life go, I've decided to be a grown-up and read grown-up books. Any suggestions?
